So much new Pokemon Go news has dropped recently. This post will be a quick breakdown so you can know what is going on in game, as well as in our community!
There is a Gengar Raid Day announced. From 2:00pm to 5:00pm on November 3rd Gengar will take over all (non-ex raid scheduled) gyms as raids! Gengar will likely be a T4 boss (instead of the normal T3). He will get an exclusive move: Psychic, and the shiny form has a chance on the encounter! As more information is released it will be updated in the event.
The November 10th Community Day has been confirmed! It will be Cyndaquil! There are double catch bonuses for this event. It will have 2x Catch XP and 2x Catch Stardust! We have knownboyish creating the artwork for the button this time around (and it is going to be fantastic). We will release that teaser here once it is completed! All the community day information will be updated in the event.
On this Sunday we have our Trick or Treat Meetup event! We’ve added yet another giveout item thanks to CrabbieDino – Pokemon Bouncy Balls! There will now be Buttons, Ultraball Trade Stickers, Pokemon Bouncy Balls, and lots of Candy! Throw on your costume and have some fun with us in the park! Niantic announces Adventure Sync, a sync-your-distance feature for Android and iOS. Note that this feature is not yet live in the game, but coming soon. This will allow background hatching and buddy candy! Check the official update here:
Exploring with Pokémon GO has never been easier with a new feature coming soon! Adventure Sync can record your walking distances even when Pokémon GO isn’t launched, working in the background to tally your distance, earn Candy, and hatch Eggs!
Plus, Adventure Sync will deliver a weekly summary, where you can see your Incubator and Candy progress as well as important activity statistics. Check in via your Trainer Profile to see the number of kilometers recorded for the week. Earn rewards each week for each milestone you cross, and receive push notifications when your Buddy Pokémon has found a Candy or when an Egg is about to hatch!
You can opt into Adventure Sync at any time, and the feature will connect to both Apple Health on Apple devices and Google Fit on Android devices.
So let’s get motivated and GO! Stay safe, and happy exploring!
